Global Education Student Assessment Tools
The Global Education checklist by Fred Czarra is an excellent tool for all stakeholders in education from teachers and principals all the way to school superintendents to state education officials. From a teacher perspective, it breaks down what students need to be globally competent into three areas: global issues, culture, and global connections. It starts by asking asks a series of questions to reflect on students' awareness and knowledge of global issues. It asks if students have the savviness and understanding of different cultures and the skills by which to have a deeper understanding of the world they live in. It makes a fine tool for globalizing your classroom and building the 21st century skills that are so necessary in today's world.
